darederek
Deal fell through. Didn't get it. Just gonna get wrx flywheel and stage 1 or 2 exedy or spec. How good are spec clutches?
Rusty9
that seems to be a colossal waste of money for just over 300tq. there are about 50 threads here about spec clutches and 50 million on google.
darederek
Unless I'm missing something, the search on this site blows majorly. No matter what I search I get a bunch of useless sticky advertisments
.Catalyst.
Use Google. Search "spec clutch site:legacygt.com" or "exedy stage 2 clutch site:legacygt.com" if you don't get the results you are looking for with built in search tools. Th3Franz
I personally would choose Exedy out of those 2 options if your car is basically stock -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
Max Capacity
I have great luck with my Spec Clutch's. I had a 2+ for 85,000 miles before I put a new short block in and now have over 15,000 miles on the Spec 2. It's great, feels a lot like stock but has tons more grab then the POS OEM unit. I had Mike at AZPinstalls.com get it for me. lee07
Excedy stage 2 if stage 2 power is all you want(low 300ft/lbs at wheel) Competition stage 2 can handle a bit more and is what I have(360ft/lbs) and drives great for a DD but like any new clutch, first couple days are no fun
