Rhitter
Based on the Survey, the first LegacyGt Kart day will be Sunday March 15th at GKR in Millbrae. Time 530 pm. Arrive earlier, we start at 530 For the Supertrack https://www.gokartracer.com/super_track.html It would be nice, but not required to get a headcount/ If we have 8 people we can book a party. https://www.gokartracer.com/adult-party-packages.html If you have your own helmet I highly recommend bringing it. The provided ones are ok. When I did this, it was horribly sweating. They give you overalls to wear and under them you get soaked in sweat. Attending 1.Ob2.5xt - paid 2.Magnuson - paid 3.Gteaser - paid 4.Fred - paid 5.wpmarky + baby - paid 6. blanston - Paid 7. FutureFicus - paid ---------------------------------------- Hey guys, WPMarky (sorry if this is stepping on your toes) had the great idea to have a LegacyGT Kart day. I threw together a simple survey to try and collect availability. Fredrik had the good idea to pick a location where we could pick the most turnout and reserve. The idea of the survey is to get availability and where everyone wants to go Let me know if you think it should be modified at all. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RGXJ36L -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday in March 14 - at GKR My OBXT build

fredrik94087
What is a gkr versus those other acronyms? Rhitter
Taking all this feedback and updating it. Fairfield is now included. Indoor outdoor would be pretty cool. Probably too early in the season for it though. My OBXT build
wpmarky
yah that place might not be good, the track gets cold during the winter so it doesn't have alot of grip. indoor only might be a better choice.

fredrik94087
I am up for any of the locations as long as it is the best choice as far as go kart speed and track layout. wpmarky
best track layout hands down is GKR's supertrack https://www.gokartracer.com/track_maps.html They also have gas cars instead of electric like at almost all other places.
fredrik94087
Then that be the one. I went to speed ring in santa clara years ago. I am definitely up for gas. Rhitter
That's the only one I drove on. I think I did the Monza track. It's a lot of fun. Drifting is super slow though... My OBXT build

Rhitter
More responses are coming in. Have had 8 people respond. Looks like a Saturday in March is the most open / preferred. GTEASER
I'm in!!! I have done the electric karts and Driven Raceway and they are okay. I take my 10yo son there and he's got enough skill that he could drive an adult kart and be really fast....but alas....he is too short. I really want to do the gas powered karts. There is also Umigo in Livermore. GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold
wpmarky
I think GKR has seat inserts that might help your son reach, I've seen lots of young ones go fast around the track (not fair they don't have to brake!) Gas is great, no traction control cutting power on ya.
Rhitter
GKR says they can fit kids as young as 8. Is Umigo gas? My OBXT build
