As the build sheet suggests, it's teeming with modifications and attention to detail that you just don't see on many stock-engine Subaru's. "Properly engineered" is another way to put it. The result was a drama-free dyno session at Innovative Tuning, as Mike was able to extract outstanding numbers from this super-solid build. Testing for this round was deemed a success - wide, flat torque curve with no boost drop-off/creep and solid power numbers on 93 octane suggest that things are working as planned, with at least another 100+ HP left in terms of compressor/turbine/IC efficiency. Future plans are more than likely proprietary, and include bottom and top end work, and perhaps a slightly different turbo from the Borg Warner lineup...not to mention a healthy dose of E85 We'd like to thank Clinton for working with us on this project and for logging many many hours behind the welding mask/lathe/mill et.al. Many thanks also go out to The Innovative Tuning crew, The Race Place, Green Filter USA and Team O.R.E. "

Th3Franz
Nice curve. A little surprised the car's boost threshhold wasn't a little earlier. still, I bet it spools very quickly at the proper rev. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz

bettner12
Impressive build! Thanks! its been a long time coming! Awesome build, that engine bay looks like it means business! it was built with function foremost, just happened to look half decent afterwards too! Great shop I had my car tuned there the tuning experience with mike was great, i make no hesitation to recommend mike to anyone looking for a tune. Wow! I hope I see this as a kit available soon. Amazing build with all the custom piping. thanks, not sure if this will get to the point where it's a stocked kit on the shelves, but it would definitely be possible. Yes, very impressive. All the piping ended up being WAY cheaper than any kit out there, just need to be able to fit up piping and weld Looks great, video clip of sound when you can would be great! once i get my desktop set up from school, i'll edit together a quick vid and post it up! Nice curve. A little surprised the car's boost threshhold wasn't a little earlier. still, I bet it spools very quickly at the proper rev. when i'm running spring pressure(1 bar), the gate opens at 3500, lots of head room left on the turbo kit and the inter-cooling system, so the next stage should stretch its legs a bit more Was this at the last qsl pgh meet? Yes it was, first one i've made it out to in about a year and a half.

bettner12
After the Pittsburgh cars and Coffee meet, we went to a local place (Jergels) to grab some lunch with some of the crew, then 6 of us went for a cruise afterwards for a couple of hours on some fun roads. The Legacy needs an oil cooler sooner than later, but besides that there was no issues, no drama, and it ran up with the rest of the pack consisting of a Lotus Evora, two elise's, Porsche Turbo, and the F430. Owner of the 430 gave me props on the car when we stopped at the mansion, and said how he couldn't hear his car anymore once my ewg opened up
bettner12
finished up a decent edit of the dyno vid, gopro is still covered with mud from the Kansas Baja SAE competition, so it won't be going back into my car until it's clean. Hopefully this gives you a good idea of the sound! bettner12
Goddamn son, are you on stock internals? Yes. if not, much more boost than 21psi would have been run. This is just a data point for the future.
