I just fell on this old post after doing some quick research about the SPT V.2 CBE. see: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/tell-difference-between-spt-exhaust-versions-158010.html On page 2 there's talk about the Y pipe connection + a link to another post which used to have some pictures + video for reference however no longer available..... Just wondering if anyone still has pics available for me to look at....a picture is worth a millions words after all....LOL. I must say this exhaust is pretty much in the top 3 (other 2 would be Borla or HKS) that I'm looking at purchasing....1 day. I'm currently running a VF52 + AVO topmount, catless UP/DP to stock mid & mufflers + custom tune (18psi)....just wondering about your thoughts on my set up versus the SPT, Borla and HKS, other than price, sound and maybe a tune, anything else I should possibly consider before buying? stuck686 Posted June 4, 2013 Share Posted June 4, 2013 it just tapers down to like 2.25 where it hooks up to the mufflers. Its a great quality exhaust but some people say it is a bit restricting (still better than having a stock cbe). I think its geared a little more towards having a stock downpipe.
