On that note, are you on coilovers or stock struts. And did you roll the fenders to fit?

I am on BC Racing coilovers. No roll or pull. Running about 1.3 deg camber all around (I think).

Excuse the cellphone pics, but for reference, here you go.

Looking nice Ghion. Makes me wanna wash mine. Maybe we should do another 5th gen photos shoot. Bring something better than our cell phones.

Sounds good to me. Gotta do me headlight retrofit and painting first though:hide:. I will get a chance to use the new dslr the wife bought me.

No issues with rubbing or ground clearance, but I think I can (and will) lower it just a tiny bit more. Tire/fender gap is currently about 3/4".

Specs:

- KW V3 coilovers

- Legacy rear upper control arms

- SPL Parts rear lower control arms

- '15 STI 20mm rear sway bar

- 19x8.5 et 38 Avant Garde M590 on 245/45/19 Toyo Proxes 4 Plus

Good choice for the $$

Agreed. I run them and have no complaints. Basically a set it and forget it setup. For daily driving its plenty comfortable still with the springs rates. 7f and 5r I believe

any recommendations on strut tower bars real quick?

For the front, I have the Whiteline one. Construction and material quality are great and its very solid. Also adjustable length for easy fitment ... However the brackets didn't sit flush without modification, so you may be better off with something else.

This last one shows where I had to cut off the aluminum tab and file off some of the under side.

Far less agressive than s2barus setup, but I think its at or close to the no roll/pull/rub limits with a mild RCE black/Bils combo drop.

Might be able to get away with same in +40 or +42 too.

did you have to roll and/or pull for those wheels?

Fronts yes there is a minor roll and pulled about 1/4inch. Rears there is very minor bondo is the arch and I didn't want to risk popping the paint so I took a grinder and trimmed back the lip just a smidge.

Looks great perscitus! I was thinking about this exact same wheel/tire setup. So thus far, you have not noticed any rub with the drop the RCE blacks give?

If it helps, here's mine. RCE blacks/Bils. 19x8.5 +38 with 245/40 rubber. No rubbing.

Might even go 245/45 when I get new tires. Hopefully I still won't get any rubbage.

Noob to suspension concepts here but from what I read in this forum buying springs to lower my car is a BAD idea on stock struts....So basically the most efficient way (on my pocket) is to simply grab some coils (say tein's) and call it a day?
