lowwill
So I changed out my pcv valve today and notice a serious clog in one of the connecting tubes of the valve cover. It looks like plaque. As I pull the tube of the throttle body water or coolant spilled out. Hope its not coolant. Pcv valve was clogged with carbon grime and didnt move. Got the kit from fred beans. 01rs25
Or someone used some type of stop leak in the coolant system. Slammed more than your girlfriend.
lowwill
Strange cause when I disconnected the hose it was leaking alittle. Then seen the mess. I also thought that it could have been a additive. No coolant loss and my recent black labs came back below average. I would think that it would have pick up something. Fingers crossed
Max Capacity
That's condonsation in the oil. Do you drive the car on the higway much during the winter ? That will happen if the oil is not getting hot enough. My air/oil seperator on my 05 does that, because it is up in the cool air flow, the oil itself is fine. I DD the car for 32 miles, one way to work, most of it highway, so I'm not conserned about it, my oil gets hot enough in the block and pan. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. Max Capacity
Your going to want to drive it a little more to get everything warmed up and the oil hot enough to boil the moisture out of it. I first learned of this on my 1970 Duster 340 back about 1974 during a cold spell when I was stationed at Pease AFB in NH. Lived on base and drove 1 mile to work and back. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
