A Very SoCal Thanksgiving II

I hope everyone is able to take a moment from their busy lives to appreciate your life, put the stress of the daily grind behind you, survive the family holiday madness, and have a great Thanksgiving.

The wife usually goes insane and has a massive Thanksgiving but we have a newborn and I am once again demanding a Thanksgiving that does not require the production staff of a major motion picture. Somehow we will have way more food than we and our dogs can comfortably eat anyhow.

We were not planning on entertaining but if anyone in the LA metro area is stuck far from home, on assignment, working or family is out of town you are welcome to join us. Eating with strangers, particularly ones with similar interests beats the crap out of eating alone.

If not, CHEERS and happy eating! OMNOMNOM! PM me for info if needed.

While I personally cannot attend, this is an amazing display of community. Hopefully someone takes you up.

Hopefully no one has need of taking me up on it as that means that everyone has a place that they both belong and are able to access. Wish I could do something for our military kids overseas.

Most of my Thanksgivings as an adult before my wife I helped the less fortunate on skid row at the Midnight Mission. Good way to put the nature of gratitude into perspective. I've been starting different traditions since getting married and having a kid.

If you are in LA and you have never done it, its a LA experience...
