Question: is there a complete silicone hose set readily available?

Recommended Posts

I duno, from that video, the car is left hand drive and he's using the kit. So it is a full coolant line kit for left hand drive. Everything looks correct to me!

Nah BL BP has nothing to do with left or right. Your way off on some random adventure lol. Look at your vin number on your car! B is for legacy P is legacy sedan and L is for legacy wagon. Or just look at our forums section you will see that the 4th gen is listed as BL and BP, and most if not all of us are left hand drive.

RSD says this does not fit 2005 LGT, but I can confirm fitment of all of these lines. I called rally sport direct and got them in black. Does not have vacuum lines though. Also got the Samco BPV hose. Went with Perrin for all of the other intake hoses (after MAF, inlet, and intercooler to throttle body).

Only thing I’m missing is the upper and lower radiator hoses, but mine were brand new OEM so I’ll do those in the future.

I just bought all brand new vacuum lines from the Subaru dealer for everything else.

Thanx for info and your time.

This is Samco`s TCS464/ANC/WRX kit

consist of 13 hoses. Includes every coolant hose with the exception of the top and bottom radiator hoses, these are sold separately.

Guided by the experience of colleagues, owning similar machines, which they share here on the forum, we can make a +/- reasonable conclusion that the kits intended by the manufacturer for the Subaru WRX in GR body (2008 - 2013 model years) are suitable for our cars (Legacy GT/ Outback XT in B13 body) without any difficulties, problems and nuances.

This is expressly confirmed by an experienced and respected SAMCO Sport official dealer Roger Clark Motorsport, who mentioned our car on the list of confirmed applicability.. - https://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/s...e-kit-wrx-2008

I would be interested in purchasing a set, especially a free range racing one if anyone has it. Otherwise I would be down to throw in some money to get a group buy started. I found the auobahn88 kit on eBay but it is pretty expensive for what it is doesn’t even include air/pcv hoses from my understanding.

Just purchased this on Amazon. I'll let you how well it fits (if at all). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A6QA4OO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I purchased this last month but will probably return it since most do not fit. It'd be a lot of cut and paste. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0158E8MBQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I got the set yesterday. There were only 4 hoses that fit good, the upper and lower radiator hoses, the turbo inlet hose and the outlet hose from the turbo expansion tank to the coolant return line.

There are other pieces of hose that I can cut up to use around the oil cooler and the water pump.

And there are other hoses that don’t fit anywhere on the OBXT.

One or both of the heat hoses may work but it is not shaped like the original. I probably won’t know until the engine is back in.

I’m deleting the throttle body heater, so I will cut up some of the leftover for this. If you wanted to keep this, there is plenty of the smaller hoses to cut up.

The only hose I don’t have a replacement for is the one that goes from the turbo expansion tank to the radiator and the larger return hose to the water pump.

I ended up going with the autobahn kit. It is pricey (~$300 iirc) It comes with almost all coolant and pcv lines. It does not include the oil cooler lines or vacuum lines (I just bought various sizes of silicone hose for vacuum)

I also used the autobahn kit and so far after 600 miles its been working fine. I know it can withstand 15 degrees with the weather we are having in New England so I'll def report back if anything fails.
