Von Hayek
I'm trying to help a friend fix the a/c on his 2009 Legacy. Can someone please tell me the location of the blower motor relay?
Max Capacity
http://people.csail.mit.edu/ilh/vacation/ the service manual should help. Oh, wait, I think its on the blower motor itself. easy to get out from under the dash by the passengers feet. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. Max Capacity
That blue relay may be in the under hood fuse box, looks like the AC relay. It's in that box. Both my cars would cycle the AC in warm weather. Seemed that after a while the AC would blow warm. When I shut the system down for a mile or so and turned it back on the AC was cold. Last year I replaced both $6.00 relays in the cars. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. Replaced the blower resistor to no effect. Thanks for the manuals gents.
Max Capacity
So now you need to figure out where the blower gets its signal to turn on and test that wire. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
