OptimumLGT
Got a whirring noise coming from under the hood during acceleration. Thought it was the turbo, but it only makes the noise till 4k then it's gone. After lift it's gone too. Sounds kinda like a siren at distance. Can anyone help? I'll of course compensate anyone who takes the time. I'm in Arvada, so it's not like I'm looking at you Dave, but I'm looking at you Dave... Seriously though, anyone around here, I need the help to diagnose the prob, and then I can pass it off on my warranty. LMK what u want in return. Hops
I'd have to see it, but a similar problem happened to me a while ago. Ended up being the turbo-intercooler gasket. Buy my cars!
OptimumLGT
That would actually stand to reason. I'm not noticing any performance issues though. I know it's not hard to pull the TMIC but is that gasket a pain in the ass?
Hops
It's not that bad. You won't notice a difference in performance. Buy my cars!
OptimumLGT
This is the gasket between the TMIC and BOV, right? Sorry, still figuring stuff out? looks like a rounded diamond shape.
