bencarlson66
I'm looking at purchasing a 1994 legacy sedan. Now I've read that the rear seats fold down giving access to the trunk. This sounds really nice as then I could still carry things which are too long to fit just in the trunk. I'm wondering if someone could tell me how tall the opening is when you fold the seats down. I've tried to find a picture online of the seats folded down but I've had no luck. So if anyone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ben
monkeyposeur
They fold down very easily. There is a nylon strap near the top of the seat cushion and you just pull them down. I haven't measured how large the opening is but is large enough to ealsily access the box that holds the 12" sub box that is in my trunk. I would guess it is about 16" or more. I could crawl through the opening if I had to. I am also a slight, small person, lol. I will be working on my first gen tomorrow. If I remember I will snap a pic.
