boxkita
That's a headache for another day. I talked with Surgeline about coming down in May for the dyno tune, so that means I have to have the new motor in and broken in soon. Lots of work to do and finding the time with work and a 4 month old is a challenge. I'll get it though. Wrenching is great therapy after a long day working/daddy day care. With careful conservation of time, you can get the breakin done in a week. If you like, I can help you since you are short on time... Gex
I might have to consider it! White wagon is a downpipe, battery, and intercooler away from firing. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly tonight!

Gex
Car is up and running. Drives great with no issues. Should be many miles of happy motoring. I will enjoy it while I get the IAG motor put together for the RBP wagon. The twins Sarah and Sheila. One month apart on build dates. Gex
Got the heads pulled from the SWP wagons old motor and was finally able to see what really caused low compression in its cylinder #2. Turns out an exhaust valve had imploded. The bottom end looked fantastic and I was able to find the missing chunk of exhaust valve intact with no damage to the piston or cylinder wall. I credit this failure to 4 things that all led to the weakening of this valve. 1. The Original owner had changed the cylinder two fuel injector to an aftermarket redrilled unit when really the fuel damper on the rail was leaking and broken. 2. The car was running an OTS stage 2 cobb map from a accessport v1(hence the carbon build on the pistons from running rich). 3. The use of 1 step colder plugs vs stock heat range. 4. PO put on a Grimmspeed AOS 4K miles prior to valve smash, I can't help but think this had some consequences as every car I have ever seen use this AOS has had engine failure. Pics Heads go to the machine shop next week.

derp
*smacks self in face* you don't need a white wagon. but I want another so bad I'm really excited to see where the IAG block gets you. Gex
It drives really nice! I can't wait to give it a nice 3 step polish, pop the raijin wheels on and take it for a photo shoot. Supposed to snow here tomorrow so I'm excited to try out it's Michelin Primacy Alpine snow tires.
magnusonsubie
My buddy's STi with a 20G that got tuned at PIA right before you did with the 1.5xtr and he just did an IAG block and got tuned yesterday and hit the magic 400 at 22psi. Definitely looking forward to what you wagon puts down. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B

Gex
Got to drive both wagons today. It was great to drive the RBP wagon again. I desperately missed the rumble from the Magnaflow. The new IAG short block runs very well. Really happy with how it turned out so far.
Gex
Switched out the Magnaflow sedan exhaust for a GReddy SP2 wagon fitment. Also ditched the AVO Silicon inlet for an AP hard inlet and the momo wheel for a DAMD round wheel. Still love this wagon! It goes back on the dyno Nov 4th! gkinslow
Steering wheel looks great! As do the wheels. If I'm honest, the way yours look is why I bought mine. How does the new exhaust sound?
