Uh... Help?

So I bought this LL Bean edition wagon. Cool little car, clean, good condition. PO says its got an oil leak and knocks a couple hundred off the price. I turn wrenches on my days off from the fire department and figure I can get it fixed and let me kid drive it to school. So... I get it on the lift and find the leak, except I don't know what this thing even is? Someone wanna point me in the right direction?

I don't have a 3.0 H6 motor and I am much more familiar with the EJ255 motors, but it looks the AVCS. it should just be replacing the gaskets to fix your oil leak. It should be an easy fix.

First I'd replace the sensor that has the white connector. It sure does look like the AVCS system but is diff from my 2.5i engines. Be careful not to over torque the new sensor as it can crack the housing where it screws into. I've replaced this oil pressure sensor on two my subies when they start to leak like that shows. Easy fix.
