Hey! New here! Just purchased a 2000 Outback H6

Whilst I have owned WRX’s before and an STI, I’ve never had an outback/legacy

Please feel free to through general info this way! Many thanks!

Thanks! The plan is to full straight through from the manifold and a turbo bonnet, take it slightly lower and make some slight changes cosmetically, it’s too old to remap so it’ll just sit at a 3.0 [emoji3526]

I rented an estate in NZ a year ago, just I could annoy friends by calling it a wagon. Still the "shooting brake" is a way better name.

Hahaha love it!

I seem to be the only one here in the UK! Tbf there’s not many of these here either

What’s a shooting brake [emoji23][emoji23]

I thought it was an English term - https://www.topgear.com/car-news/modified/gallery-13-of-the-best-shooting-brakes-ever-built-aston-martin-ferrari-volvo-corvette-toyota

Technically the Ford Pinto wagon is a shooting brake...?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DOIP._8wtPLQ2GHaZjjDmd-cGMQHaFj%26pid%3DApi&f=1

Holy crap that’s amazing! We don’t get anything like that in the UK!

certainly looks like a 3rd to me. although because says outback (2nd) instead of legacy (3rd). one of those goofy subaru things.

its a good looking wagon, regardless of generation

I just assumed the 2000 was the 2nd! Either way I love the bloody thing, the family car is a new seat tarraco but this thing holds my heart

i like the body kit. especially on the cream? color. the drop with the dished wheels. is that a wood trim steering wheel

Pearl white :) it just looks cream because it’s filthy haha the dishes wheels are going baby pink and chrome rather than bronze and chrome

And it is [emoji846] I’m taking it off, I’ve found a boss kit in Pearl white with a white wood wheel to go with
