brawlking
Hey guys, just like the title said, having a problem that just started today. This morning, the car had a hard time starting, then when I left work it was a little worse. When I got home I tried starting it again, my gas gauge went from quarter tank to half, and my miles remaining gauge just shows "----". Any ideas on what this could be? Fuel sensor? Car is a 2013 2.
Alexmed2002
Sounds like something to do with the fuel pump, mainly because the level keeps changing as you said earlier. How many miles does the car have?
brawlking
The levels seem to be staying the same now, but still a rough start. It has 121xxx miles
cww516
How old is your battery? Electronics do all kinds of weird stuff when they don't get the voltage they're expecting, and a dying battery would explain the hard starts as well.
brawlking
The battery is about 4 years old now. Maybe I'll look into that.

cww516
That sounds about right for mine as well, from what I remember. I'm not going to claim I didn't limp it along at sub-12V resting voltage for a little while out of sheer laziness, though. Gave me the opportunity to replace it on a cold, windy night in December... The old battery died while our car was parked in the garage lol
