Lower front grill

I have a feeling this is JDM only, but I figured I would throw it out here to see if it would fit USDM cars.

That bumper does not look like mine and the grille is not shaped like the Grillecraft lower grille that I have. I'd bet $1 that it doesn't fit.

Yep that lower bumper grill is for an everywhere-except-the-US bumper.

I cut a custom one out. I keep forgetting to mount it up. I used cardboard cutout to figure out the size and just used a Dremel to trim it.

Korea and Kazakhstan randomly have the same bumpers that US/North America has. Even weirder, Mexico has the JDM models, and even had the turbo up to 14.

I have some friends that regularly go to Mexico to visit family. I joke about sending them to a salvage yard to bring me back JDM parts.

I did notice Mexico was that way, never knew that Korea and Kazakhstan were like that though.

 

I love it when you share that stuff with us. It's like a scientist sharing the migratory patterns and mating habits of some obscure little-known species. The rare and un-loved 5th gen Legacy.

I just checked last night, and I have enough of the perforated aluminum sheet to do the lower grill opening. I'm still trying to decide if I want to cut up the grill I made for the Outback to fit the Legacy opening, or sell it and start over.
