stevenva
What do you think of adding these to the instrument cluster? http://www.ebay.com/itm/93-98-SUBARU-LEGACY-ALUMINIUM-GAUGE-TRIM-RINGS-KIT-NEW-/280616110587?hash=item41560609fb&item=280616110587&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr RIP 96 Legacy 2.2 4EAT lost reverse @ 374,000 miles
mailman
I'd go for the full chrome plating on the cluster if it weren't for the glare from sun hitting it

Stasis
I actually really like that, assuming it fits the JDM guages (which it should since they're the same) might grab some Wonder how they look with illumination

Stasis
I ordered a set will post up results once they arrive Wonder how good it would look with the clear carbon fibre as well on the dials, perhaps too rice
stevenva
The one thing I don't like about doing the gauge faces is having to R&R the needle pointers. They do make these in carbon fiber. http://www.ebay.com/itm/130820438998?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619 I'm kinda partial to the Black Anodized Brushed Aluminum version. sti_044
I personally hate chrome and shiny stuff. I had to spray my grill black temporarily til I can get an RFRB. I don't really notice much of a difference to justify spending $30 on them myself, but if you like them why not?

Sludgeroo
If its that face you want, shouldn't you just be able to undo the speedo/temp/tach/fuel gauges and just bolt in them after the faceplate? I just had to do that with my cluster to install a tach as I didn't have one (brighton). Learned that the magnets in those guys don't like to get dropped or they start acting goofy.. stevenva
Changing the face, (which has the printing), requires removal & re-installation of the needle pointers. Risky, You really need to know exactly how to re-position them. Not so with just trim rings. They just frame the plastic inlay. Stasis
How wouldn't it? It is very thin on the inner edge and lips over the exterior not interior, you lose maybe 1-2mm of clearance?
