Jim_KT
For those with the Whiteline KCA334 installed on their vehicles, are the washers installed under the urethane thrust washer? I ask because I inspected the install and noticed that they are not present. Also read that some KCA334 kits did not come with them.

Jim_KT
Right LCA rear bushing: http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn30/Jim_KT/SpecB/Whiteline_KCA334.jpg No washer present. I also remember that there were no large washers that came with the kit prior to installation. My poor Cusco braces are filthy.
Shotokan1509
Just installed... no washer was included, and honestly I missed that in the directions
ukspearo
There should be a washer.... i phoned whiteline and they sent two . They're big, maybe 60mm diam and 2-3mm thick. think the same kit is used on the impreza where you dont use the washers but on the leggy they should go on. AZP Installs
Whiteline made a running change sometime earlier this year to add those washers. So if you bought old inventory you may have gotten the kit w/o the washers. -Mike Paisan http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/145749898/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg http://www.whiteline.com.au/images/logos/perf1.jpg 11+ Years Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Subaru Enthusiasts. Understood. Spoke to the installer and he mentioned that from their experiences with customer cars, the oversized washers were unnecessary for the cars with CUSCO front lower-arm braces. The CUSCO plates that replace the OEM units provide more bearing surface area. I notified him that I would still like the washers.
iNVAR
I wonder if I should email about getting washer. I don't have them either... but if I put them in, I'll have to be really careful that I don't mess up the caster.... Hmm.

Jim_KT
I'm picking up some heavy-duty washers and will install them next weekend. Off-topic, but does anyone know the part number for the locking nuts that are used for the front LCA to crossmember bolts? The original lock nuts come loose after a few days of driving. Torqued to 80 ft-lbs. The recommended torque is ~70 ft-lbs. I tried searching here, and on Fred Beans Parts as well as Subaruonlineparts.

GTTuner
What I do is swap the lower triangular brackets from side to side, it has a larger area to support the washer this way.
mr.hicksta
Sorry for the bump, but do the washers go underneath the brace that bolts to the frame and the LCA? Or do they go in between the bushing and the LCA? Any clarification would be helpful
JmP6889928
I just installed the kit last weekend and mine DID come with the washers however, the instructions I received with the kit did NOT address them being in there. I called Mike at Infamous where I bought them, and we looked online and the "new" instructions have a footnote regarding the washers and that they go on the bottom before the triangle bracket. I would think that you could just go to Fastenal or something and find a washer big/thick enough to be close.
dan04103
Thanks for the heads up on this. I contacted Whiteline as my kit was also void of the washers. Cheers Update: whiteline had the washers to me in 3 days and included a lanyard for the trouble. A+... already installed.
LegacyDan
bumping an old thread i know but same happened to me recently i got the washers but no mention of a need for them in the instructions so my mechanic did not install them. Ill have to go back and get them fitted or do so myself. Anyone have a picture of them fitted?with the washers on the bottom?
