bman356
Good Afternoon, I recently purchased an accidented 05mt lgt as a parts car. The front drivers side of the car was smashed in. No damage to the engine but the fuse box under the hood was annihilated, as was much of the drivers side dash. I have pulled the leather seats out as they are in great shape. I do not want them for myself but may be able to sell them locally. My issue is that I would like to test electric movement/heater before putting them up for sale. I am worried that if i hook power to these bad boys and accidentally trigger the air bag I will scrap the seat and perhaps my face. Is there a good way to go about testing these? Thanks Brad. compsurge
This should help. One way to test this would be to run a continuity test across the seat leads to the motor input wiring and actuate the switch that drives the motor.
