Driveway Built Legacy GT

Recommended Posts

I have a built Legacy GT done in my driveway. I began the project end of May to mid Aug. It wouldve been my winter project but my friend blew up my motor. Don't worry, he helped pay the bill.

So I built my car with a purpose of having a fun, reliable Daily Driver. Here is a list of whats done and had been done and plans for the car.

Engine:

Built EJ257 705 Blcok from an 07 STI

Bored block because of minor scoring on the walls. (SPun Bearing from previous owner)

Wiseco 99.75mm Pistons

2015 STI Rods

2015 STI Crank (nitrated)

King Race Bearings

Oversized STI Oil Pump

Gates Timing Belt Kit with Water Pump

ARP Headstuds

Freshened Heads w/ porting, polished

TGV Deletes

Cobb Light Weight Crank Pulley

One Step Colder

Induction:

BNR 18G Turbo w/ vf40 Exhaust Housing

Mishimoto Turbo Inlet

KS73mm Big Maf intake Tube

AVO TMIC (at that time)

Grimmspeed EBCS

TurboSmart COMP40 EWG

Exhaust:

Invidia catless DP

Grimsspeed Up-pipe with EWG

Fuel:

DW65c Fuel Pump

Stock 550cc Injectors (I know, I forgot. Just wanted my car to running)

Drivetrain:

Stock........

So after my car was put together, I had my car tuned by Lou Leiberman of ProCom Racing in Toms River New Jersey. Very nice facility and very kind and helpful staff. I must say, my car performs better than stock even witht he low numbers i got due to my injectors.

@19.5 PSI my car was at 98% IDC. I Had done 280 across the board. I was very sad but I had just done a recent purchase of Injectors and getting tuned By TurboTek Ray in Pheonix Performance in March. Haven't determined a specific Dyno day but it would be in March. My car at that time will have everything from the top PLUS:

850cc DW Injectors

FMS FMIC

COMP Clutch Stage 3 CLutch Kit

Overhauled Trans

My car should be ready by then and i maybe running E85. It depends on what Ray says lol

I will have updates and the Dyno sheet once everything is said and done
