ashwinearl
I need to replace the O-ring on my dipstick. In the several posts on methods for checking oil, I've read about a magical Green O-ring. Can someone share a size and source for a replacement O-ring? thanks

SeabeePirate
I know this is an old thread but it was the first one that came up on my google search so other people might still be looking for this info too. I believe the size of the O-ring is 8.8 ID with a 1.9 Section. If you google this part some of the pictures of the Subaru part show 8.8x1.9 on the Subaru packaging. In my assorted set I have an 8.8IDx1.9 section which seems a little tighter than what I took off but it’s a close match. Hope this helps someone.
