Nanci E.
So, I've been trying to figure out if there is a way to check the transmission fluid on my 1992 Legacy, manual transmission. Or, maybe an even more important question, should I? When I put it in reverse today, I couldn't pull it out of reverse. It was suggested I check the transmission fluid, so I went online to figure out how to do this, and it seems there are two trains of thought: 1) it's not needed since it's a manual and 2) Yes, you should and you can find the dipstick on the driver's side of the car. So, do I need to check it, and if so, where do I do that?? Thanks! I know this might seem a silly question, but it truly is driving me crazy not being able to find a solid answer.
