Scooby2.5
Thought I would move my build to the proper forum instead of the outback pictures forum where it has been since starting this project shortly after purchase in 2005..... Here is the original thread http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/2005-stage-3-outback-xt-sti-seats-150039.html I will slowly get pictures etc moved over to here. I had picked up the car from Cobb Plano Aug 28th 2015 with new motor and tune. Car was then right at 250K Its currently as of May 2016 at 270K Upcoming plans include switching to a Blouch 1.5XTR Updated Tune Aug 2015 http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=216324&d=1442069821 August 2011 http://accessecu.com/dyno/graph.php?gb=0&hp=1&torque=1&rpm=1&sl=1&sln=1&sat=0&cb=0&dgr=1&smm=0&sg=1&runid1=2785&rgb1=000000255&runid2=2784&rgb2=204000000 http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=148506&d=1365970937 http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=148518&d=1365974548 Car: 2005 Outback XT Tuner: Calvin Dotson Cobb Tuning Plano TX Dyno Info: Mustang Temp: OLD-55-65F New-65-70 Sea Level: Aprox 1000 FT Fuel: E85 105 octane/ 93 Octane PowerTrain: Tuned by Calvin Dotson Cobb Tuning Plano TX Cobb Ver 2 AP w Access Tuner Race 350 whp (E85) TMIC 385 whp (E85) FMIC 373 wtq (E85) TMIC 423 wtq (E85) FMIC 304 whp (93) TMIC 350 whp (93) FMIC 317 wtq (93) TMIC 360 wtq (93) FMIC AVO380 (Garrett 2871r) AVO Wastegate Actuator Cobb Turbo Heat Shield Turbo Blanket Prodrive EBCS AVO FMIC Cobb XLE BOV AVO BOV Hose AVO Throttle Body Hose Cobb Cold Air Intake Perrin Turbo Inlet Aeromotive Stealth 340 LPH Fuel Pump Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator Aeromotive Oil filled Fuel Gauge 07 STI Fuel Pump Control Module ID 1000cc Top Feed Injectors and Conversion (Bosch) Custom Fuel Lines Cobb Catted DownPipe DEI Wrapped Cobb Catback LegacyGT 3" Exhaust Grimmspeed UP DEI Wrapped Grimmspeed Ported Exhaust Manifolds Grimmspeed High Flow Crossover DEI Wrapped Crawford V2 AOS Cobb Lightweight Crank Pulley Gates Racing Blue Timing Belt Grimmspeed Radiator Shroud Koyo Racing Aluminum Radiator VH2778 Samco Radiator Hoses Braille B3121 Light Weight Battery Motul Xcess 5w 40 Synthetic Cobb Stage 2 Motor- Cobb/Watt Built: 07 STI Block, 07 STI Forged Crank, Manley Platinum 2618 Forged Pistons Manley Turbo Tuff H-Beam Rods, STI 11mm Oil Pump, Killer B P/U Tube STI bearings, ARP Rod and Head bolts Grimmspeed TGV Deletes DriveTrain: 08 STI 6 Speed DCCDPro DCCD Controller 08 STI DCCD Switches 07 STI R180 Torsen 08 Spec B Rear Axels Spec B Driveshaft STI Spec B Short Throw Shifter COBB Short Throw Shifter Lever STI Shifter Bushings STI Group N Tranny Mount STI Group N Motor Mounts STI Pressure Plate STI Clutch 08 STI Flywheel Subaru Extra-S gear oil F&R Suspension: Cobb Rear Sway Bar Cobb Front Sway Bar Cobb Sway Bar Bushings F/R Kartboy Endlinks F/R Racecomp Tarmac 1 Coilovers Brakes: Stoptech ST40 BBK LGT Rear Brake Calipers Stop tech Street Performance Pads Stop tech 2 piece rotors Aluminum hats Centric Rear rotors Stop tech SS Brake Lines Motul RB600 Fluid Audio: 2007 Spec B Radio MP3, Aux Input, Satellite Control 2007 Spec B Console Cubby Aux input for Iphone Subaru Sirius Satellite Radio Module Dual Subaru Factory under seat Sub Woofers (1 Driver, 1 Passenger) Interior: STI Pedals STI 3 Gauge Pack in Cubby STI Front Seats 05 STI Alcantara in Rear Seats Cobb Shift Knob Spec b shift surround plate STI badge Redline Leather shift boot Redline Leather brake lever boot STI DCCD Controls Auto dimming Homelink Mirror Innovate LC-1 Wideband VBG1 v1.05 AFR and Boost Gauge Passport X50 Exterior: Window Tint Front 35% Rear 20% Volt HID Kit with DRL Disabled Toshiba HIR High Beams STI Badge JDM Outback Bumper with Exhaust Cutouts Legacy GT Rear Bumper Beam Michelin Pilot Super Sport Summer Tires 2011 18" STI Enkei Wheels 5x100 to 5x114 15mm Adaptec Speedware/Motorsport-Tech Adapters Winter Setup: 17" Rota wheels and Blizzack tires 5x100 225x55x17
xtea
That's crazy good power for a 380xt isnt it? Those numbers looks pretty close to a dom 1.5, who bother? And if you do I might buy your 380!

Scooby2.5
Yes with all the supporting mods it does well. Mine also has the upgraded stainless steel hot side. Id sell it to you if you wanted it. You can even take the cartridge out and send it to garrett for a new one for $
housemusic1
Have you had any issues with converting from 5x100 to 5x114.3? I'm leaning towards some STI Limited wheels, but I would need to convert, and I've read conflicting stories on that. Some say its bad for the hubs, some say there's no real issue. Just wanted to see how your experience was. Also, what size tire are you running with the STI wheels?
Scooby2.5
Had no issues at all. Adapter spacers were made from billet stock and are hub centric and wheel centric. You have to have wheels with "pockets" on the back side for the lug nuts. Not all wheels have this. Running 245x45x18. Same diameter as stock 225x55x17
housemusic1
Ok. Cool. I'm a newb when it comes to adding adapters. Are those wheels a +55 offset?
Nightmaresmk
Need more updates. you know i love the build.
Scooby2.5
Ok. Cool. I'm a newb when it comes to adding adapters. Are those wheels a +55 offset? Yep the stock sti wheel is +55 So I used a 5x100 to 5x114 15 mm custom made billet spacer by Adaptec Speedware/Motorsport-Tech This made the offset 40 I still had to roll the fenders with a eastwood roller. With the ride height at pretty much stock LGT and 245x45x18.5 wheels and tires it would rub.
Selnix
I may have missed it but what is your suspension setup? Planning on starting in on my Outback sometime later this year and yours sits pretty nice. Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk
freshADR
He's running RCE Tarmac 1's. Great coils
Scooby2.5
Yep running RCE coils at racecomps recommended height and then using subtle solutions billet lift kit to put it at stock LGT height
