Spec.Battle
My clutch is going out and was told the Exedy OEM clutch kit and OEM flywheel was the way to go?! Any suggestions or experience is very helpful. The shop wants to order direct from Subaru, but I may go this route instead. Thank you

Max Capacity
Your FW should be able to be turned and reused. Exedy is a good company. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. spritefiend
I have an exedy oem replacement clutch for my 05 lgt, and it chatters A LOT. It's driving me nuts. But, that's the only complaint I have for it.. and that's not half bad.
Spec.Battle
Ok yea we are going to try to resurface the flywheel and if it can't be reused then get a new flywheel. Wasn't sure what route to take with the clutch. Thanks guys

Max Capacity
Correction, I just noticed you have a 06 Spec B, 5mt. you may have a DMFW. Contact Mike at www.AZPinstalls.com tell him what you have, he will get the correct clutch for you. And SMFW if you need. I'm being to rethink the TSK3 kit. If you do the right prep work for the TOB and tranny snout you should be fine if your not having any issues. IMO, I'm not a big fan of OEM style clutches in cars. I'd alway's set up. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
