mikeyvt Posted December 14, 2018 Share Posted December 14, 2018 Hey Guys, I'm planning to the Sti steering wheel swap into my outback. I have a 13 Outback and a 15 Sti Wheel. My question is around the airbag. I actually have the airbag and cover from the Sti also which I would like to swap over but I was told it wouldn't work. Does anyone happen to have pictures of the Legacy/Oubtack airbag plugs? I'm curious to see if the airbag connections are the same between the Legacy/Outback and the 15+ Sti. DrD123 Posted December 15, 2018 Share Posted December 15, 2018 Well, from the service manuals the connectors and the wire colors going to the connectors and the pin numbers coming off the airbag control module are the same.... I put the 15 STi steering wheel in my LGT, but kept my airbag. I don't know for sure if everything is the same, and wouldn't want to take a chance with an explosively driven device aimed at my face while driving...
