kurtis9813
I have a 1997 Legacy Gt Sedan, that I bought half a year ago. I love the car in every way except for the Springs on the car. The previous owner lowered the car with Tein S Techs on stock 2004 WRX struts. I want to raise my car back to stock height but not on stock springs. Does anybody know of a good Spring/Strut combo that works on 2nd Gen Legacies that is at stock height but also gives off good handling benefits. kurtis9813
I've been looking into USDM sti pinks and kyb agx struts. Has anybody used this combo before? People online say this makes a good combo with a slightly lower than stock ride height and decent handling.
Zues Marine
thats pretty much it^, not in my top 5 combos but it isn't bad
Kennyfvholla
The easiest thing to do is just to replace the springs with something else. Remember, they'll have to be 02-07 WRX springs to fit the struts and top hats. Shouldn't be too hard. Tein H-techs will raise the car and take away a lot of the crappy ride and twitchy reaction of the S-techs. USDM pinks will fit perfectly.
Zues Marine
nobody should ever own s-techs, i'd rather chop my own springs
Kennyfvholla
nobody should ever own s-techs, i'd rather chop my own springs I completely agree. It just destroys the way a car drives. I'm pretty sure they are just created for the people in the ricer/stance crowds who have enough money to not cut there springs but not enough to install coils or air bags or whatever shit they install.
