Ares3985
Anyone know if you can tighten the small arm that the actuator connects to? I have a small leak coming from it and not sure what the fix would be? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
JmP6889928
You can bend it very slightly but it's very difficult to bend. My guess is your flapper bushing has moved and is allowing the wastegate to leak.

ehsnils
Looks like a wear issue that is just because the turbo is getting old. I would plan for a replacement since if you have wear there then it may be on its last legs.

The shaft has absolutely no play and the wastegate seats nicely and opens smooth as butter. It doesn’t really seem too worn other than that one area. I just don’t see any way of remedying it. Unfortunately it is a moving part so I can’t even plug it w anything. Well. I guess I’ll run w it as is Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ehsnils
Was it a re-built turbo core you got then? In that case the rebuilder may have considered that it's good enough. The amount of leak you'd get there would be minor.
