Cool Article about the 05 SCCA wagons floating around still.. :)

Recommended Posts

Going to pick up, I hope, a running car this weekend. The plan is to swap the motor into the "Silver Bullet" (Yeah, I know not everyone associates that name with the Coors Light's train, but whatever) and take it out for a few track days.

I have lots of ideas about what I want to do with the car, however, I don't have the budget to wander thru a lot of options. Until the car is on track, everything I want to do is an expensive guess.

I'm sure there will be drama. Hoping to get a bit more downtime to share pictures of the carnage as it plays out. I wish I had video of the engine parts falling off the car as I raised it on jackstands a couple of days. Nothing more frightening than hearing bangs and cracking noises while lifting a car up. It was all good...just the cam gear falling thru the engine bay and hitting the floor. :-)

It's legal in all classes I'd run.

Not going to lie, an LS swapped, RWD, 6 spd manual 4th gen LGT wagon is up there on the 'cars I'd really like to build' list.

I could suck start a snow blower.

Bot FreeRangeRacing's STI hub'ed wagon. It's Gex blue (love his wagon). It has this feature, too - http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/can-bus-expert-disconnecting-devices-and-bus-termination-226617.html?t=226617

Will be pulling the rear trailing arm and visiting a machine shop to see what's possible.

where should we all start sending our parts requests? Boxkita.used.parts@gmail.com?

Have too many boxkita email addresses. :spin:

Pm me here. I'll get you a quote and space on the parts rack. I picked up 2 Home Depot sized racks for storing parts. 3 hoods, 2 full bumper sets, 3 exhaust systems, 4 cars... I'm hoping that's enough to get thru a season. Re-reading old posts, I don't think I have enough.

April 21-22, 2018

Podium the Ridge.

7 hours Saturday + 7 hours Sunday

"Run until all 3 engines blow up"

There's no time like April to start racing. An enduro will identify more problems than any number of track days.

SRRT #1 is coming back to the track!

Want to crew? Want to provide advice? Want to criticize? Whatever...all are welcome. If you're really good, you get a t-shirt.

Do you need any more drivers?
