erito
Is it possible to convert a non-turbo 2.5 engine (or 2.0 Legacy) to turbo or scroll-compressor or something like it? And that should be without bigger modifications. Like take the standard turbo for legacy gt and add to a N/A Legacy/Outback? My friend want's to buy an Outback with 2.5 turbo engine, but they don't import that model to Sweden.
BDII
yes, but it would cost you $$$$$$$$$$$$ lots of it too. the compression is not correct to start with, plus you would have to change your maps.. crash
it is *possible* to turbo the N/A 2.5. But you can't just take the turbo and intercooler and slap it on there and be done. 1) The crossmember is different on teh NA engine, so the up-pipe won't fit. 2) the intake manifold is different. 3) fuel pump is probably different. etc. etc. etc. If he *really* wanted to turbo a n/a 2.5 a custom turbo kit would probably be the better idea. (in fact I have one for sale with engine management). But the BEST thing to do is just do an engine & ECU swap.

erito
uh this sounds tricky and expensive. Maby would be the best thing to check for supercharge kit? Is there any around? Would be nice with something like ESSTuning do on BMW cars ( http://www.esstuning.com )

Maby it is possible to get the GT in Sweden if you ask the Subaru agent... we'll see what happens.
