It at least feels faster if you smoothly press down the gas pedal over the course of 2-3 seconds. I don't know if it actually gets to 60mph faster this way or if it just feels that way. I have the exact opposite problem - my throttle is too touchy. It is impossible for my to roll into the throttle. Even pressing the throttle a little bit gives it way too much input.
