Bam!!!!!

My friend works at a local Ford dealership and they got in a Legacy that was totalled, but before they hauled it off, he pulled off its stock suspension and we cut 1 1/2 springs off the back and front and put them on my car. Might as well mess up suspension I don't care about rather then mine. No camber problems at all, but we have to put about another 1/2 spring off the front since the back settled lower then the front.

Pretty good deal I think. :)

Hey, it was free right? Some minor spring trimming is usually safe and somewhat effective. I think you went a little overboard on the rear though. While spring do get stiffer as you cut them, I'd guess that the rear are no where near stiff enough to cope with that low a ride height.

I only cut 1 1/2 springs all the way around. There is definetly like 2 inches extra of space in the rear fenders so if I wanted to I could actually lower it more (I'm not going to)

In the front I have at least 2 inches inches of clearence when I'm turning. I am only gonna lower if about 1/2 a spring in the front if I even decide to do it.
