05 LGT w/ P0546

For context it has 145k miles and a stock uppipe.

I looked up the code and it's an EGT High voltage code, it'll be a few weeks before I can get a new uppipe (I'm thinking Invidia). Should I remove the sensor and do the resistor hack for now to keep the sensor from breaking off and eating my turbo? I know about the drain plug fix for the bung and I can do it today. There's no change in the driving characteristics after the CEL came on. Advice?

I highly doubt you can remove the sensor without damaging it. Delete it.
New JDM Forester XT catless uppipe is going in Sunday. For now there is a resistor on the plug for the sensor and for all my car knows, that sensor has a good reading :)
