urdrwho
I was just wondering why Subbies have two throttle cable cams. Is one so that the TPS can measure for the trans and one for the throttle opening angle? The reason I am asking is that today I plugged in my scan tool and pressed the pedal to the floor and the TPS never read 100%. I had to adjust the one cable to get it to read 100%.Also on my daily driver (not Subbie) the TPS should read .4 at closed throttle. I was reading that a subbie mechanic said with the scan tool connected the subbie should read 0.45-0.55 volt with the throttle completely closed. Is that true? Kennyfvholla
The second cable is for the cruise control system
urdrwho
Thanks. That makes sense. Probably if I would have followed the one cable I would have found it attached to the cruise mechanism. The second cable is for the cruise control system

snederhiser
Hello; Remember that the TPS has an idle circuit switch built in and should be adjusted per the FSM. Resistance values can vary between units, Steven.
