Rudeboy47
And I'm cooking in my legacy!! Before I did my timing belt my a/c worked great. After I did the timing belt the a/c stopped working. The light on the ac button doesn't come on when the button is pressed. What could this be? It should be something simple rite? Where can I start looking? DGR81
Did you add the Freon?
Stang70Fastback
I know this is not entirely related, but it is: If you don't have tinted windows, get them. They will do as much to help control the temps in your car as the A/C will.
WhoUtink
Put the belt back on. I keed.
Bandit240
Check the wire going to the compressor clutch. It may have been knocked off when you did the timing belt. You didn't happen to remove the lines to the compressor? If so, you need to take it to a shop to be refilled.

Rudeboy47
The clutch on the compressor does not engage and I check the wiring and everything seems fine
Bandit240
Check the fuse for it. If the fuse is good, pull the wire loose while the switch inside is on and check to see if there is voltage at the wire.

monkeyposeur
Should be under the kick panel on the driver's side.
ssbtech
Might also want to check the relay. I had to replace the relay in my '05. Not that the A/C is of much good in these cars anyway.
