They were out of production but they are back now. Makes putting 275-295 and even 315 tires possible.

Secrets don't make friends :p

I want a set. you want a set. we all want a set. with apm, he knows at least 1 person wants a set. if we all pm him, he'll know we all want a set.

then he can call Karlton and tell him we all want a set.

or we can keep hoping someone makes a set. Out of a weber grill top or some such thing...:spin:

Karlton sold all the molds to my friends buddy who now produces them. So contacting Karlton wont do any good.

Now its the new owner of Karlton sold the molds to my friends buddy.

Not bitching, just confused. Who has the molds and who is fitting them on your car and when can I fit them on my car?

My buddy's friend has the molds now. He is the new owner of all the Karlton flares and he is producing them. Karlton does not own them anymore.

I actually just talked to my buddy's friend today. I should be meeting up with him In the next 2 to 3 weeks hopefully to talk about getting this going.

Okey dokey. I get it. So I have to wait 3 more weeks to find if something is going to happen? I've waited 11 years, a couple more days isn't going to break me.

I've been looking at doing something like this for the wagon. It's mostly legal in my class, which basically says the car has to be recognizable as a Subaru. The fact that its the only wagon, has a turbo, and AWD; assures that anything else I do isn't going to detract much. Besides, the winning car in class looks very DTM in body work. I think he's onto something.

Meeting with Dead Mr. to work out the suspension issues for the rear so I can run wider tires...have to fill out the flares.

yeah. he wanted to meet up this weekend or next. and i might be able to do it next weekend. but it depends on my schedule and if i can get time to go down there.

What will you be doing about the wheel bearings? That concerns me the most about running these wider wheels.

one step at a time. i want to search and try to find a company who makes wheel bearings that will make a good product and also make them in a 5x114.3 lug pattern.
