mikeyan
I had to switch to an AP2 for my new tune (god damned, yet wonderful AEM map sensor ), so I'm selling my version AP. 2006/2005 auto legacy's and outbacks. I might have a TDC OTS stage 2 map, i'll double check. Willing to meet somewhere convenient to sell it, shipping on buyer. $475 OBO Thx fer looking! mikeyan
as long as you properly unmarry them, it is fine... but it is for 5eats, so unless i can get the mt reflash (it does exist ... mine originally came labeled 06 AT, but had an 05 MT flash on it), i can only sell it to other autos. the unmarry process took forever Mike SoCal Duck Hunters Club - Unit

I'm a bit confused. I've got a used Access Port Version 1 coming and I want to make sure I don't do anything stupid.
whobaru
After you've installed an AP, in the menu on it's screen is an option to "uninstall". That relieves it of it's duty to that vehicle and makes it available to be installed on another vehicle.
SnowBound BP5
I see. But if I do that would I erase any of the maps the previous owner stored?
whobaru
I don't know.
Boostjunkie
Unmarrying the AP does not erase the stored maps, Cobb or otherwise. It just flashes the stock map back to the car's ECU and "unmarries" itself from that ECU so that it can used on another car.

NutBucket
i thought it wasn't a good idea to swap used APs.. I bought my AP used 2 years ago. Saved myself at least $100 over new. No problems! Someone buy this thing so Mike can buy more Wii/PS3 games;)
