ChrisC92
Hello, I have just installed some new Cometic MLS head gaskets on my subaru legacy EJ20 engine. everything works great except when I release the throttle, the rpm far under the normal idle point(it nearly dies) and then it stabilizes itself. Also the "Check Engine" light up randomly. what could be wrong? I have been searching for solutions and this is what the problem could be according to other people: -Valves need to be adjusted -ECU needs to be reset and relearned(disconnect battery for X minutes and drive) -Too much air in the intake Here is some photos of valves etc: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ky1i3agcp9pdyft/R-DAUjofFT

DOHCEJ22E1
Check your MAP/MAP sensor & the plug that goes into it. Also double check the whole intake to make sure you closed everything up. Even the slightest bit of extra unmetered air will cause a stall at idle.
ChrisC92
I found one opening on the intake that was leting in some air, i fixed the gap and it helped a little. Here is the trouble code that i pulled out: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3375306/VIDEO0015.mp4 (Air control valve inoperative (Abnormal signal produced in monitor circuit)?)
