The EV wagon looks pretty good.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

Looks like it doesn't have the same amount of cargo space as the Outback of today though.

 

 

Personally I'd prefer a less complex front without too many places where snow and ice could collect. It would be a pain to clean in the winter.

 

 

 

But the EV looks like a design study, so it may change.

 

 

The pain with newer vehicles is also the lack of a real spare wheel. Something that still is needed in some areas. There's no good substitute for the real thing, especially if you get stuck 20 miles from the next service due to a puncture.

I was thinking the design in front of the rear wheel opening leads to it getting sandblasted from the front tires.

 

Yes I'm sure this is just a design study.
