Not really. I've tried all the "solutions" I could find in my research. My next step would be busting out the oscilloscope and multi-meter to see if i can find a frequency a resistor would work on.

Electricity is the same as magic to me, but that was what I was thinking. But in my situation, I would pay someone who studied electricity at Hogwarts to figure out which magic resistor is needed to fool the sensors. I miss cruise control.

Hey, just admiring your build and saw this PNW Wagonfest thing. Sounds awesome. Too bad I missed it this year. I'm doing lots of good stuff to my wagon this year and will be ready for next year. There seems to be a lot of fun car events around here but I seem to find out about them after the fact.

Summer update. Got the wagon all cleaned up for PNW Wagonfest tomorrow. Bringing my little Impreza rally wagon as well. I got the new seats in and 95% figured out. No beeps from the passenger side but still have an airbag light. Ill figure it out someday. Also picked up a unique (none AVO) JDM double din kit. Working on figuring out what I want to do infotainment wise.

WagonFest is always a great time. Highly recommend hitting it up next year.

Got the double din done on the wagon. Enjoying it so far. Nice upgrade from the previous Parrot blue tooth adapter.

@Gex I've seen a bunch of those Double Din Setups on Amazon/Ebay. Do they work well? or did you get it from another place?

I got this from a member on here. It is a very uncommon double din. That said, it functions just like the others, they work great. Wish I would have done it sooner. Be careful with the Ebay/Amazon ones, most look like their for single zone climate controls. Make sure to get the dual zone one.

2020 Update. The wagon is just absolutely dialed right now. It is just a great all around car. I am enjoying every chance I get to take it out. Picked up a fresh set of 7th gen Fortune Auto 500 coils with switft springs, these will replace the perfectly fine but older 4th gen Fortune autos 500s that have been on the car coming on 6 years.

Recently I picked up an absolute nugget of 1994 Toyota Celica ST205 GT4. AWD, 2.0ltr 3S-GTE turbo motor making 250hp, crisp 5 speed. I am in love. It is going to replace my 1996 Impreza as my rally cross car. I am super excited. It is a really fun car, reminds me so much of the first time i drove a bug eye wrx. My old 15" Sparco wheels and gravel tires wont fit over the massive Supra derived brake calipers. I am on the hunt for a nice set of 16" wheels that will clear the calipers. I slapped my Raijins on in the mean time.

Man, the envy

You are definitely living the dream. You have a pristine wagon, and an ST205 GT4?!

I've been looking for an ST185 GT4 for the last two months to see what I could find. I'm not ready to own one yet, but having one at some point in my life would be equivalent to checking off a big bucket list item.

'92 ST185 GT4 WRC or Carlos Sainz Edition would go onto the unobtainable dream car list.

i have a question for you !

do the sti intercooler match perfectly with the under hood plastic duct .I understand the intercooler is bigger ,but wanted to know if the duct seat correctly , same as the oem intercooler .

I had to remove the duct completely. The STI intercooler most definitely does not fit with the oem shroud. Won’t work with the Grimmspeed LGT/wrx unit either. I’ve been meaning to fab something up but it works fine without.

my idea is to make a hood with the sti scoop and also keep the internal duct , since i dont have this setup and dont know locally somebody with a sti intercooler, i m trying to figure the position .

Small update. Added some new Fortune Auto coils to replace the 7 year old Fortunes that were in there. Other than that, this thing has been just a great all around ride. Still makes me smile.

Unfortunately my JDM nuggets have consumed my car interest for now. I plan to just enjoy the wagon for the foreseeable future.
