psucaptainkickass Posted July 25, 2006 Share Posted July 25, 2006 The reasoning behind the MPG gauge is so that you don't feel so sad about the MPG when you drive. This way, you don't know exactly how much gas mileage you are getting. The range on the gauge probably goes from 0-20, that way you always feel that you are getting decent mileage. If you're buying a GT you will most likely only use the Sport Sharp setting. I read the intelligent mode is like switching to a 2.5i with the A/C blasting in terms of power.
