jhough77
Anyone else have an issue with the reverse lockout cable when re-installing the new STS? For me, it isn’t lining up with hole in the shifter where the pin is meant to be inserted, it’s about an inch short. Feel like I’m missing something glaring but not sure what it would be. If anyone is familiar and can let me know I would appreciate it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Code
Install with the transmission in reverse. This will leave the cable as long as possible during install. "Striving to better, oft we mar what's well." - Bill Shakespeare - car modder

SubOperator
I have COBB 6MT STS and had to install it without handle's ball sitting in the socket. I was raising whole tranny from underneath and it wouldn't clear the opening. This gives a lot of room including cable. Once tranny's in place handle just plugs in the socket. 2005 LGT Wagon Limited 6 MT RBP Stage 2 - 248K 2007 B9 Tribeca Limited DGM - 258K SOLD - 2005 OB Limited 5 MT Silver - 245K SOLD - 2010 OB 6 MT Silver - 205K
