JohnSoPA
I put my new 18" wheels along with 235/40-18 tires on my wagon last week. My suspension is stock, so it does look a bit high with the new 18" wheels. I am consider either the Eibach Pro-Kit or Ion springs to lower the car, but am not sure that I want a full 1" drop. I basically use this car for mostly highway miles and at this point am OK with the stock ride. I am wondering if there are any ways to lower the car about 1/2" all around without replacing springs. I was thinking that I could trim some of the rear spring pad. Any thoughts on this? Does anyone have ideas on what to do in the front?
whitetiger
pro-kit should be fine. Id get upgraded struts though if you are gonna put on aftermarket springs.
JohnSoPA
I will down the road. I don't want a full 1" drop, though -- like what I'll get with the Pro-Kit or others.
JoeFromPA
John - Race Comp Engineering is developing an "everyman's" set of springs. Not sure when they'll be out or if they'll be good for wagons, but I think they are aiming for a 1/2-3/4" drop. Joe
Gary Bechtold
Actually I think the aim was a 10mm drop per my conversation with them. I have a wagon so I would think a wagon specific one would be in order.
