Dude, how did u solve the problem with the gaps left from the cutouts? I even posted a new thread but no one helped me. I actually wanna cut the whole middle part with the badge but those gaps where the pieces were are just uglyyyy

I haven't taken care of that yet, I have some fabric and resin laying around that I was going to use when I put mesh backing on. I wanted to see if I could utilize some of the gaps to see if the mesh would be secured by them in some way......

I also want to cut the center but then you loose structural integrity, so I am still coming up with a piece that will sit behind the mesh but keep the whole grill rigid, if that makes sense.

I also need to find some mesh that isn't tacky, gutter mesh is ghetto.

So after writing an epic story of our journeys with our Subarus and how everything came to be and together, the site logged me out and I lost it all so I'll just throw some pics of our Subies out there:

JUST A DISCLAIMER: NO PHOTOSHOP WAS USED IN THE MAKING OF THIS POST!

Here's our ole Baru before it died (was mine but now my wife's):

Winter%20in%20Oregon%202004.jpg

We weren't near any mountains at the time and so we imagined them often!

Then Bluebaru came along to remasculate Subhuman!

IMAG0031.jpg

DISCLAIMER: ALL MODS IN THIS PICTURE ARE PHOTOSHOPED! (the car is really a 1987 Ford Escort).

And after three long year of Redbaru stalled and rusting away in the rain with small little wet kittens hiding under it's wheels and only mere feet from a warm cozy home, came the day when Mr Subhuman needed sex from the wife and so resurrected the once great Redbaru to nothing likes it's old whoring days!

(Yes I am a Canadian wannabe)

A lucky shot with PS filters galore!

And so finally after a few minutes of orgasmic bliss, the wife came crawling back to Mr Subh and hence we became a quasi two working Subie family who enjoy mud fights and rally play (well at least the whipped Subh does when he can sneak in WCSS from time to time).

PS I have no talent so don't ask for autographs please! I am too busy living off of my wife's hard work!

sorry your story didn't save. maybe try typing it up in word or notepad, then just copy and pasteing. it may save the frustration feeling where you want to throw your laptop through the window. :) lol.

Nice pics of your trip and your subie. :)

Well I learned my lesson on this forum for sure! In this case it was from a desktop and I am recovering from surgery so no chance I'd be throwing it anywhere. Good thing for it that I don't hold grudges or else... :jedi:

(The best emoticon I could come up with. Need a smashing computer one)
