I know what you mean Josh. Hopefully we can get the word out to those who can't make it out to the open lapping days.

The smaller clubs are competing against the open lapping days and some of the clubs are losing money hosting.

With the whole MCCA schedule they will have a number of different dates to make it out at least once.

Z club update July 7th. This is open to most any make and model and membership is not required.

A little over two weeks left for our July 7th track day. A little over a week for the 1st of two tech sessions.

We have two pre-tech sessions scheduled at the home of Gary Bracken (2487 S. Dover Way, Lakewood, CO 80227, 303-969-9964) as follows:

1st tech session - Saturday, June 30th from 10am to 3pm

2nd tech session - Tuesday, July 3rd from 4pm to 7pm

PLEASE try to make one of the pre-tech sessions so we are not pressed for time to get the cars inspected on track-day. The more cars we have to inspect the morning of the event, the later we'll get on the track and, we charge an EXTRA $10.00 to tech your car at the track.

Z club update

If anyone is planning on coming out but haven't registered yet, either come to our next tech session on Tuesday and register then. If you can't make that one, just come out to the track with your registration the day of the event at 7am to get teched. Do NOT mail the registration in since we may not get it in time by mail.

Here's a vid I took. In a group of three with similar power and experience. 280z took the lead and a 280zx the tail.

As you can see, the weather was great all day. The only rain was on the way home.

I'm moving from California to Colorado (military). Is there anything like what I listed below which are organizations that aren't car clubs with memberships? or should I learn to accept what is already available? Thanks!

Most clubs don't require memberships to join their events. Each of the MCCA clubs have their own requirements. Most tracks have open lapping, but each also have their own requirements.

Calvin also mentioned the perfect weather - sounded like everyone had a blast! I should be able to make it out to the next ZCCC day... Potentially with a new toy! ;-)

ok Josh, pm me what your new toy might be. There are too many guesses and none of them right, unless Calvin's new toy is an indication. ;-)

Try to make one of these two tech sessions. The more cars we get teched early, the better we can keep to the track schedule.

We have two pre-tech sessions scheduled at the home of Gary Bracken (2487 S. Dover Way, Lakewood, CO 80227, 303-969-9964) as follows:

1st tech session - Saturday, September 1st from 10am to 3pm

2nd tech session - Thursday, September 6th from 4pm to 6pm

This is for the Z Car Club of Colorado track event.

After yesterdays 1st tech session, we have 27 cars registered.

Three of those are Godzillas(GT-R) :-)

If you can't make the Thursday tech session, DO NOT mail your registration, bring it to the track with you on the 8th. Get there early, by 7am to get teched.

Thanks to our sponsor, Boulder Nissan, drivers no longer have to work corners and we also hired a night guard for Friday night in case you wanted to camp out.
