Help - 06 Spec b to WRX Clutch/Flywheel setup

Throwout bearing is whining like crazy and has since made a more aggressive noise after someone attempted to learn how to drive a manual.

Car will be going into the shop on the weekend to replace the throwout bearing but while in there will also be replacing the clutch.

Crossing fingers the TOB hasn't completely ruined the trans and i can get away with this one but i doubt it since it's been getting progressively worse since last October. - but dramatically increased after a novice manual driver attempted to drive it.

I want to switch to the SMFW setup and keep an oem clutch so I heard this is possible by using an 06+ WRX clutch/flywheel.

Can someone review this list and see what I'm missing/ If this is compatible?

Your list looks solid.

If the trans snout isn't damaged too much you can use the oversized tranquil sleeve/throw out bearing as a repair. The throwout on this doesn't seem to last as long though.

Can you elaborate further on the oversized tranquil sleeve/throw out bearing?

Thoughts on if there is damage to the snout? Would i need a whole new transmission?

As I've previously said elsewhere, you need at least one "Torx Plus" TP50 bit. Regular Torx T50 won't cut it, and I would recommend two TP50s to make it easier (use one to hold the flywheel with one bolt, and the other to remove the other bolts).
