Scooby Fan
Got a favor to ask anyone who is handy on Photoshop or any other similar program. I am looking at getting my OZ rims refinished over the winter and am thinking of changing the color to gold... similar to the color on Sti or WRX wheels. Can anyone 'shop this picture to show me what that might look like before I spend a bunch of money just to find out? Thanks
creep_nu
you can play around with colors on tire rack https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?&autoMake=Subaru&autoModel=Legacy+Sedan&autoYear=2012&autoModClar=2.5GT+Limited i personally think a bronze would set them off better than gold...to me gold's too bright for the kinda dusty(?) color of yours
Scooby Fan
I have tried that but they don't have my car color any more (Twilight Blue Metallic) and I haven't found any wheels on there that look like mine and are available in golf or bronze. Humble Rumble
Here, bit of a quick and dirty. Did my best to match the STI gold. Here's a touch lighter gold as well. I quite like how this one looks with your color. Scooby Fan
Hey Humble....thanks so much......that second one looks great! We have a great wheel refinishing shop near me....been in business for over 50 years (As a hot rod shop etc etc ) they have done work for me for decades but never wheel refinishing before. I dropped in to see them yesterday for some ideas.....Strangely enough getting my OZ's redone in the original bright silver is almost twice the price of doing them in gold or bronze....go figure? Food for thought Thanks again.
