07 Legacy GT Memory seats

Hi

I recently bought a legacy gt. When I press the set + button 1 or 2, there is a beep which is supposed to happen. But when I move the seat a bit forward or backward and press the button 1 or 2, the seat does not move back to the set position. Any idea what to do?

Adjust seat to your preferred position and stop pressing buttons.

I had an 07 LGT sedan and I never saw any indication that the seats moved on their own.

Check the owners manual, but I think you press and hold the + and one of the numbers buttons to store the setting. Another note, on my Spec B the seat will only automatically move to the presets when the car is stopped, I’m sure it’s a safety feature and linked to the vehicle speed sensor or the sat nav.

On mine (JDM), it needs to be in P with the hand brake on before it will set the memory positions.

For a manual, the e-brake needs to be active (BRAKE light in dash illuminated) for the memory seat to move. It will not move otherwise.
