BigPappaD
I'm helping my son with his 95 Legacy Wagon LS. The outer edges of both front tires have wore down to the bands while the insides still have tread. I've read a few threads about the sway bar, etc..., but I'm still not sure. It has 257K miles, so I'm sure the front end needs some TLC. I just an idea of where to start. Thanks!

spooln30
Jack the front end up and check for play in the LCA bushings, lower ball joint, tie rods and wheel bearings. Outer tire wear is in most cases caused by improper toe alignment or worn suspension component. At 275k I'm sure there's something worn.
