mike413
Looking at a 2018 Subaru Legacy premium with 95K mikes, I have owned several Subaru's and around the 60 K mile mark a timing belt should be replaced. Did they by chance change the 2.5 to a chain instead of the belt?
dgoodhue
They changed to a chain for the Legacy in 2013. Subaru motor changed from EJ25 to FB25. Most people don't realize this because the both have the model marketing designation of 2.5i At least since 2000's, the Subaru maintenance timing belt interval has been 105k miles or 105 months.
