bobedford Posted January 13, 2018 Share Posted January 13, 2018 I'm new to the website so please cut me some slack.. The shroud broke off the top of the engine. Is it really necessary? I love this car. Any simple ways to make it faster? Increase hp or anything else? I've only had this car for 6 months, any tips or suggestions? Has 75K miles on it. nads Posted January 14, 2018 Share Posted January 14, 2018 I just broke mine in to pieces and threw in the recycle bin yesterday. It was broke in 3 places. Perfomance, go here and read: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/official-3-6r-mod-list-219254.html Basically the following are worth while in this order: Tune (preferably by XRT) Raptor Headers and high flow cat and y-pipe and Tune Raptor Supercharger and Tune (Raptor says you need a "cat back" too....) My opinion in intakes is they are a waste of money and just make noise and need to be tuned as well. Suspension: 13-14 26mm front swaybar 22mm Whiteline rear bar Most would recommend the 13-14 Springs but I don't know if the Outback got the spring rate increase the Legacy did for 13-14.
